Flower Child

On my trip to California San Francisco was an amazing city!!!
Haight Ashbury was the highlight of my San Francisco trip.
At Haight Ashbury there was so much culture from the music scene of the 1960s.
It inspired me to put this Flower power inspired look together…
This boho dress from Shabbybabe is a true patchwork hippie dress
The multicolor floral print is incredible!
The purple ruffle and bodice both match so perfectly!
I wore this dress all throughout San Francisco on my nights out in the city.
I received so many compliments on it.
A denim jacket tones down this dress a notch if your looking for a more casual look.
To complete this outfit I wore my tan Jeffrey Campbell boots from Free People with it.
I have 2 pairs of these boots because they match every dress so well!
The boots were well worth the investment.
I find that its hard to find a nice summer boot to put with midi dresses in the summer.
If your looking for that perfect boot, I suggest these Jeffrey Campbell ones..
I'm definitely going to miss San Francisco. Never have I seen so many gorgeous coastlines and bridges.
The San Francisco hills were insane! I can't wait to visit again soon!

Eyes For You

Happy October 1st everyone!
This season I was in need of a new pair of glasses.
Yes, I wear glasses on a regular basis..
I wish I was born with perfect 20/20 vision, but unfortunately I'm not.
Since my job is primarily on the Internet,
I'm constantly staring at the computer screen, iPad,or my iPhone for hours every day….
Because of this I'm wearing glasses half the day while getting all my work done.
I just got this beautiful new pair of eyeglasses online
I can never find glasses that are high quality with out having to pay too much money for them.
I love this pair!! They were exactly what I was looking for.
Glasses shop has so many frames that I love!!
I'm probably going to end up getting myself another pair of cute glasses from them.
I wear these every single day, and am constantly getting compliments on them!

Red & Paisley

Paisley has to be one of my favorite prints!!!
I feel that its one of those designs that you either love it or hate it.
So much vintage clothing and vintage inspired clothing have the signature paisley design..
I think if you wear it in moderation and your not covered head to toe in paisley it looks awesome.
This dress is a vintage AJ Barry design.
Its gorgeous!! The fit is perfect, and its made out of a rayon,so while shooting this dress I was so comfortable!
I adore the scoop neckline and the high waisted design.
This is a great vintage boho dress that could be worn anywhere!
The red color is beautiful and I love the small floral print.
Not very often do we find clothes that make us feel beautiful.
This dress made me feel like a goddess while wearing it!
I didn't wanna take it off for the rest of the day,
and I received so many compliments on it!
I'm looking forward to shooting even more of these bohemian maxi dresses in the future!
Their rich in color,design,and texture..

Boho Butterfly

Its so important to be able to breathe and feel comfortable in our summer clothes!
I went on a beautiful stroll last weekend
through a meadow and forest on top of a mountain and boy was it hot!
I was so lucky to be wearing a rayon dress that day.
I feel like the best fibers to wear in the summer months are cotton & rayon.
The natural fibers are breathable,
and when wearing a dress like this one,
your left feeling comfy and loose throughout the day like a boho butterfly.
I don't know about you but I can't live without my 5 or 6 rayon maxi dresses for the summer.
Their great for pretty much every occasion like
Barbeque's,a trip to the beach,a walk in the park, and even a sunset picnic in the meadow.
This boho maxi dress from shabbybabe is so comfortable.
It has pleated skirting, and buttons down the front…
I love to unbutton the first few buttons in the front near the hem for added comfort.
This dress was great to hike in, to picnic in, and to run errands in.
I always try to dress up as much as I can when the weathers warm.
Where I come from the winters are brutal.
I'm stuck in sweaters and jeans for 6 months at a time.
I'm making the most of whats left of the summer, and dressing like a boho butterfly everyday.
I'm definitely not looking forward to the cold weather in November through March.

Lace Grunge Gypsy

I live for fashion! I love taking 2 different genres of fashion and combining them!!
In this case 90s Grunge with 70s Bohemian…
I think the 2 looks mesh very well together…
Grunge is loose dresses, leather, denim jeans, and tees..
Bohemian isn't that much different. Loose hair, loose dresses, lots of jewelry, and rock n roll..
This lace dress from shabbybabe is in my top ten favorites from the clothing collection!
Its a baby doll lace mini dress made out of cotton.
You can wear it with Gladiator sandals, pumps, and even a plain basic pair of sandals.
I wanted to take this look to the next level,
and throw on my Jeffrey Campbell knee high leather boots. I love the combination!
Its definitely boho but so grungy as well.
The 70s and the 90s are my 2 favorite decades in fashion.
Whenever I put looks together I always draw influences from those 2 time periods.
I love looks that inspire me…This look has really inspired me!!!
I'm about to switch up my closet all over again and make it even more grunge inspired.
I'm changing my wardrobe all the time…
Fashion changes so quickly, but I love to have my own original style…
The past will always have a major effect on my closet…
Nostalgia is here to stay..

Prairie Girl

Last week I was out having a sunset picnic by this gorgeous lake,
and I wanted to look fabulous without being too dressed up or dressed down.
When it comes to the Prairie Girl look I like to go for separates…
I'm not always in the mood to wear full dresses.
Separates takes a dressy look and tones it down a bit…
I just bought this adorable gathered off the shoulder crop top from Free people.
This top matches everything and is very casual for everyday wear.
I grabbed my favorite Army green skirt and put a chunky suede leather belt from shabbybabe with it.
I also discovered this incredible tooled leather bag from shabbybabe!
 Tooled leather is gorgeous!
I love all the intricate designs that's in tooled leather.
I got this big beautiful black hat from Bloomingdale's
Its the ideal picnic prairie girl hat!
Since I never get to wear boots with skirts,
I threw on my Jeffrey Campbell black lace up letter boots to finish the look.
The results were fantastic! I got all sorts of compliments on this look!
Separates are tricky to put together but they give your wardrobe more options and looks to play with.
