Beach Daze

The summer is so close I can feel it in the air!
For me the summer is all about getting to that beach!
The salt air,and cool breeze put my mind at ease after a long work week.
I was lucky to get to visit Huntington Beach this paste September.
I loved the surf culture at Huntington beach!
It was so inspiring!
While I was there I decided to put together a look inspired by the surf culture at Huntington beach.
I happened to pack a neon green scarf crop top.
It has a gorgeous graphic Hawaiian floral print, that was perfect for his occasion!
I found these beautiful white rayon pants to wear with the top.
These pants are kind of like Harem pants.
They have a loose layer of fabric that drapes so beautifully when the wind is blowing.
I got so many compliments on this look!
I didn't think anybody would notice that day,but they did.
All that was missing that day was for me to grab a surf board and go for a swim in the ocean.
Huntington beach was by far one of my most favorite beaches I visited in California.
I'm looking forward to going back!

Mermaid Sighting

Theres a beach lover in all of us!
I know I can't get enough of the beautiful beaches in summer.
I'm there every weekend soaking up the sun.
I was lucky enough to experience the California beaches over the summer.
They are spectacular!
The beaches of Cali have big beautiful rocks, clear blue water, and the most golden soft sand.
I found the ultimate sheer blue dress that a mermaid would wear!
I wore this peacock feather print boho chic dress from Shabbybabe over my bathing suit.
I put on a gold mesh metallic belt with a tribal fringe necklace.
I feel like if a mermaid did get washed ashore she'd wear this dress too ha ha.
Its a vintage 70s dress but truly looks brand new.
The dress is made out of silk so the drape is perfect for a windy day.
This beach was like something out of a dream.
I was the only one there that day, and I loved it!
I had a blast shooting this Look book.
Theres nothing like watching the sunset over the ocean as the day ends.

Beach Waves

There are certain places where we go to think about life..
 For me its the beach..
Listening to the sounds of the crashing waves and smelling the salt air puts my mind at ease…
I love to hang by the beach and read books, and sometimes jot a few thoughts down in my diary…
I don't think I could ever live without the beach!'
I found this amazing spot in Monterey,California..
Its an incredible rock beach with very scenic views.
Its the true symbol of summer, gorgeous weather, and romance.
Luckily I have a few cute outfits to throw on for these beach Excursions…
This Jumpsuit was quite a find! Its slouchy on top but flares out to gorgeous palazzo pants!!
Its the ultimate beach jumpsuit.
I put it on over my bikini…
Its all elastic so you simply just slip it on and slip it off.
Its the perfect color too!
The jumpsuit is this sandy brown and black butterfly wing print.
Palazzo pants are great for long walks barefoot on the beach.
When the wind hits the pants are soft and loose.
The winter is such a bummer.
I hope it goes fast so I can be back on this beach enjoying sunsets and life.

Flower Child

On my trip to California San Francisco was an amazing city!!!
Haight Ashbury was the highlight of my San Francisco trip.
At Haight Ashbury there was so much culture from the music scene of the 1960s.
It inspired me to put this Flower power inspired look together…
This boho dress from Shabbybabe is a true patchwork hippie dress
The multicolor floral print is incredible!
The purple ruffle and bodice both match so perfectly!
I wore this dress all throughout San Francisco on my nights out in the city.
I received so many compliments on it.
A denim jacket tones down this dress a notch if your looking for a more casual look.
To complete this outfit I wore my tan Jeffrey Campbell boots from Free People with it.
I have 2 pairs of these boots because they match every dress so well!
The boots were well worth the investment.
I find that its hard to find a nice summer boot to put with midi dresses in the summer.
If your looking for that perfect boot, I suggest these Jeffrey Campbell ones..
I'm definitely going to miss San Francisco. Never have I seen so many gorgeous coastlines and bridges.
The San Francisco hills were insane! I can't wait to visit again soon!

San Francisco To Los Angeles: The Epic Road Trip

I've just returned from the most epic road trip of my life!
I've been traveling from San Francisco to LA for the past 2 weeks!
It was an insane road trip and quite an eye opener!
This was my first time exploring the West Coast of the United states.
Only one word comes to mind when explaining what I saw: BEAUTIFUL!!!
I was surrounded by mountains, golden sunsets, and gorgeous coastlines!!!
It took a while for me to get used to.
I'm from the East Coast….

NJ Suburbia, NYC, and Cold winters is what I look at every day….
It has its pros and cons…. I love NYC, but the winters are brutal!!!
We have shores and beaches but not like California does!!!
I loved the wild life I saw there!
 I saw sea lions,Elephant seals,otters,pelicans,
and the list goes on and on!
Along my journey I stopped in
Monterey,Carmel, Big sur, Cambria, LA, and Huntington Beach!

Every 3-4 days I was up and out to a new destination in California….
On my epic road trip I stopped to photo some amazing looks
I put together before the big trip!
For the next few weeks(or months)
you'll be seeing a few West coast inspired look books I shot in California.
I'll never forget this trip! It was life changing for me!
