Festival Fringe

There are so many different ways to wear fringe!!
It brings a true rock and roll edge to any look.
Its not very often that I find vintage leather fringed vests like this one.
When I found it I knew I had to do a look book about it.
This look book was shot on a surprisingly warm winter day.
If it were spring though,I'd probably but tis vest with a 60s mini dress.
These vests look awesome as layering pieces to wear wth dresses.
Accessorizing this look was crucial.
Most of the belts I wear now a days are vintage.
The vintage belt in these photos have the same vintage look as the leather the vest is made out of.
I've been buying a lot of my jewelry from Vidakush lately!
They have such an eclectic array of necklaces that I adore!
If your looking for jewelry to wear that nobody else has check them out.
I finished this look with my blue jeans and a simple black crop top.
A simple,fun,and playful fringe look!

Fringed Fox

I love leather and fringe!!
Its not very often I find spectacular leather and fringe pieces to wear..
This fringe jacket was a rare vintage find of mine.
Its in amazing condition for its age and the color is gorgeous!!
I love the conchos on the back of it, and how long the fringed trim is.
Fringe and leather always look good with blue denim jeans...
I had a lot of fun during this photo shoot because the jacket kept me warm in the freezing weather,
and its fun to shoot casual looks with jeans when I can.
This is a men's fringe jacket but it looks just as good on woman!
Theres no reason why women can't wear men's clothes sometimes.
This is one of those exceptions.
These fringe and leather pieces from the past are works of art!!
I can't imagine how long it must have taken to make this jacket.
Its such a show stopper, one of my favorite pieces to photo.

Long live the 70s!

The best part about vintage clothing are the colorful and creative prints!
The 60s and 70s had so many amazing colorful textiles…
I collect vintage clothing in part to collect the textiles that go along with them.
This vintage 70s mini dress has the most beautiful blend of pastel pinks and peaches…
The dress has a taupe floral print that swirls in all different directions…
Its a great dress for winter. The dress has long sleeves and is short enough for boots!!
When I put this outfit on I tried on my floppy hat, and the hat matched so perfect!
We photoed the dress at sunset and I'd say we captured the sunset hues of this mini dress.
Sunset colors are my favorite colors to wear!
They remind me of the summer, romance, and warm days.
Everything that makes me happy!
Taking something old and combining it with a few vintage accessories,
gives your wardrobe a fresh new look.
Long live the 70s!

Uptown Funk

Happy Holidays everyone!!!
The winter holidays can be joyous and very stressful at the same time…
Whatever the situation is I always try to stay positive!!!
I know there are times when its truly hard to cheer up,
especially during the gloomy months of winter..
A bright wardrobe can always makes the difference!
This season I'm wearing red!
Theres nothing quite like a red winter coat!!!
Red is an incredibly sharp looking color to wear!
This ensemble features red and black!!
I love how red and black look together.
Its bold and very classic.
When I leave my house in the winter,
I gotta have that bold beautiful double breasted coat!
This is a vintage 60s mod coat from Shabbybabe
I love to wear anything mod.
Its one of my favorite time periods in Fashion History.
The mod era had so much creativity and colorful clothes in the fashion scene.
I'd love to jump in a time machine and go back to 1965 when it was all happening.
All I can do is collect these beautiful vintage masterpieces and share them with you.
This look book is so bold and beautiful I hope it brightens your day!

Wanderlust

I love to travel!!
Traveling takes the cake as my $$ spending investment….
Life is too short to not see the world, or experience different cultures…
I was lucky to make one last trip to the beach this fall before the cold weather.
I had so much fun walking this beach in my hat and lace top!
Whenever I have the time I travel, even if its somewhere local like this little beach in NJ.
Life experiences give us adventures we can talk about and remember.
I have so much fun going to different locations,
and putting fashion together along with my adventures!
The other aspect of travel that I love is you don't need to pack much to get on a plane and go!
I recently purchased this hat in San Francisco,
but I take it everywhere I travel to now…
If I'm a wandering vagabond I must look the part…
This Victorian lace blouse is like something out of a time machine!
It has a beautiful Victorian edge to it.
I love that I can get away with wearing this in the year 2015.
Its a Gothic lace rock n roller look when paired with leather.
I can't wear anything pastel or lace without putting leather with it.
That's just my personal style, Soft and edgy.
