Glamorous winter

I've been putting my cold weather wardrobe together for weeks!
I live on the East coast so the winters here are long and grueling.
This year I wanted to go for more of a glam look.
Its hard to stay glamorous in freezing cold weather isn't it?
To save money I like to take my boots to the shoe maker for new soles and heels, and I thrift!
Its amazing what you can find thrifting.
That's how I found this coat.
Its a brown suede leather wrap coat.
The coat is fully lined and has a fur trimmed collar.
When I saw it I had to have it!!
Its very modern and wearable for a vintage piece.
I love that its a fall color scheme to wear with my brown leather boots.
I can't wait to wear a big oversize scarf and hat with this look!
Instead of getting bummed out this winter get glam!
Being a little glamorous is always up lifting.

Patchwork Leather Groove

I love the vintage coats of the 60s and 70s!
The tailoring was impeccable, design lines were figure flattering,
and the creativity was limitless.
Lately I've been into wearing trenches from the 70s.
In a lot of the vintage coats you see patchwork leather designs,
faux fur collars, and bright neon colors.
I was extremely lucky to find this treasure while thrifting.
Its the most elaborately detailed leather coat I've ever seen!
The coat has jewel toned pieces of patchwork throughout the garment.
Reds,greens,taupe's,and black,make it so sharp!
I don't know about you but,
double breasted coat closures are my favorite way to button up in the winter.
Theres something about the front double breasted coat that looks sleek and military.
I think on a woman its flattering as well because it truly shows off our hour glass figures.
This coat would be adorable with a mini dress and boots for evening!
Its a day to night piece.
I wish we could see beautiful design lines like this again.
I am forever inspired by the past.

Sweater Weather

Who's ready to layer up for fall??
Fall is a funny season.
Some days its warm, and some days its real cold.
For that reason we turn to separates to guide us through the fall transitional fall season.
I like to have a piece for the cold days that can be used as a jacket or a coat.
I've been loving long sweater dusters for the colder days.
They look so chic, and fun when worn with jeans or leggings.
This one I'm wearing is vintage! Its real suede leather and knitted wool.
I love the copper color of it too.
To me its the ideal piece to include in my wardrobe.
It can be worn indoors and out.
I love vintage for the unique separates to pair with newer clothes.
I wish I had 5 or 6 of these sweater coats because their so warm and cozy.
I'll be on the hunt for more just like these.

Autumn Beach

I love layering for fall! Denim jackets are always a must for me.
Denim is so soft and comfy.
Even though its the start of fall,
summer hasn't ended for me yet.
Just last week I got some sun and went for a swim.
I wore this vintage blue western button up shirt over my bikini.
This made a fabulous beach cover.
It didn't even get dirty or filled with sand.
This could be a men's western wear shirt but I think it looks great on a woman.
I love taking menswear and making it into something feminine.
Of course I added touch of sparkle and metallics with some of my favorite jewelry pieces.
Summer may be over on the calendar but not in my heart.

Witchy Woman

With summer coming to a close I'm very excited to get back into the energy of fall!
Carving pumpkins,darker colors,
and that gorgeous foliage about to show up on the trees is so much fun!
I saw this dress over the summer and fell in love!
Its a black orange and red floral maxi dress.
This dress is perfect for fall. I love the plunging neckline and flared hem it has.
Its more of a casual evening dress but still gorgeous,
and has a bit of a Gothic feel.
I wore long leather boots and darker makeup to finish the look.
No outfit is complete without accessories.
Layering necklaces and rings is part of my personal style,so naturally I had to do it for this look.
I Can't wait for more fall fashion in the next couple of weeks.
