New Years Extravaganza!

New Years Eve is one of the most fun nights to dress up glamorously!
I usually choose a long black dress with studs or sequins.
This New Years Eve I'll be wearing a gorgeous studded halter dress!
The front is studded in rhinestones and goes into a sexy Deep V plunging neckline.
It has a beautiful thigh high slit going up the front making it perfect for dancing and lounging.
Believe it or not this is a disco dress from the 1970s!
When trying it on I couldn't believe how contemporary it still looks today!
I love that the rhinestones are individually sewn on and not glued on.
When I put this in the washing machine I'll never have to worry about losing any of the stones.
Its a great all year round dress. This is a great look for the beach,a winter cocktail party, or even as something to wear to a wedding.
Remember to get glam this New Years Eve!!
Bring in 2017 feeling happy and fabulous!!!

Holiday Sparkle!

With the holidays comes a beautiful pallet of colors!
Silver, and gold mixed with red, fuchsia, emerald, ruby, and jeweled purple tones.
That's what inspired this post!
The holidays allows us to get dressed up in glitter once a year!
I know we usually view the holidays as a time of stress and overspending on gifts.
Well lets take a break for a second and admire the beauty!!
This entire outfit is vintage!!
I love vintage clothing because I admire the colors, fabrics, and workmanship of the past.
This metallic jacket is a vintage evening piece that I love!
Its so versatile,it can be worn with jeans, or a long evening dress!
The dress is a vintage 70s party dress. I love the color!
Mauve and metallic silver are 2 hues that go so well together.
This look turned out to be a brilliant mix of holiday sparkle!
I hope you sparkle as well this holiday season!
Take a break from all that stress to focus on yourself for a day
and become a shooting star.
Happy Holidays!

Retro Flare

I'm extremely picky when it comes to a fall and winter coat.
I'm in a coat from the middle of November to the beginning of April.
Its an item I wear everyday for almost six months of the year..
If I'm going to be stuck in a coat for that long I might as well have fun with it.
I'm crazy for the boldly printed retro coats from the 60s and 70s.
Fashion was so colorful and bold back then!!
A lot of the coats were trimmed in faux fur and flared out to A line silhouettes.
I've always had this vintage brown plaid coat but never wore it till recently.
Its a dress coat from the 60s/70s.
I wore it with over the knee boots from Chinese Laundry.
This coat makes an amazing statement!!
I think I may wear it for the holidays when I'm in NYC.
I feel like a queen when I put it on. Its beautifully tailored, lined, and very warm!
Winter fashion like these coats inspires me to simply enjoy the cold weather season.
There's no reason we still can't look fabulous during the colder and shorter days of winter.

Casual Sundays

As much as I enjoy dressing up, I love having a look that is as comfortable as a pair of pajamas.
Sunday is my dress casual day.
All week long I'm wearing high heeled boots, stockings, and fitted dresses.
One thing about 90s fashion is its loose and comfortable!!
For that reason I always keep a few loose dresses for when I'm in the mood to relax.
I enjoy an oversized dress with a cute floral print of my favorite flower.
This is a cute mini dress with an adorable daisy print!
I had a lot of fun kicking back and doing this photo shoot in my neighborhood.
Theres nothing like a casual Sunday.

Glamorous winter

I've been putting my cold weather wardrobe together for weeks!
I live on the East coast so the winters here are long and grueling.
This year I wanted to go for more of a glam look.
Its hard to stay glamorous in freezing cold weather isn't it?
To save money I like to take my boots to the shoe maker for new soles and heels, and I thrift!
Its amazing what you can find thrifting.
That's how I found this coat.
Its a brown suede leather wrap coat.
The coat is fully lined and has a fur trimmed collar.
When I saw it I had to have it!!
Its very modern and wearable for a vintage piece.
I love that its a fall color scheme to wear with my brown leather boots.
I can't wait to wear a big oversize scarf and hat with this look!
Instead of getting bummed out this winter get glam!
Being a little glamorous is always up lifting.
