Uptown Funk

Happy Holidays everyone!!!
The winter holidays can be joyous and very stressful at the same time…
Whatever the situation is I always try to stay positive!!!
I know there are times when its truly hard to cheer up,
especially during the gloomy months of winter..
A bright wardrobe can always makes the difference!
This season I'm wearing red!
Theres nothing quite like a red winter coat!!!
Red is an incredibly sharp looking color to wear!
This ensemble features red and black!!
I love how red and black look together.
Its bold and very classic.
When I leave my house in the winter,
I gotta have that bold beautiful double breasted coat!
This is a vintage 60s mod coat from Shabbybabe
I love to wear anything mod.
Its one of my favorite time periods in Fashion History.
The mod era had so much creativity and colorful clothes in the fashion scene.
I'd love to jump in a time machine and go back to 1965 when it was all happening.
All I can do is collect these beautiful vintage masterpieces and share them with you.
This look book is so bold and beautiful I hope it brightens your day!

Beach Waves

There are certain places where we go to think about life..
 For me its the beach..
Listening to the sounds of the crashing waves and smelling the salt air puts my mind at ease…
I love to hang by the beach and read books, and sometimes jot a few thoughts down in my diary…
I don't think I could ever live without the beach!'
I found this amazing spot in Monterey,California..
Its an incredible rock beach with very scenic views.
Its the true symbol of summer, gorgeous weather, and romance.
Luckily I have a few cute outfits to throw on for these beach Excursions…
This Jumpsuit was quite a find! Its slouchy on top but flares out to gorgeous palazzo pants!!
Its the ultimate beach jumpsuit.
I put it on over my bikini…
Its all elastic so you simply just slip it on and slip it off.
Its the perfect color too!
The jumpsuit is this sandy brown and black butterfly wing print.
Palazzo pants are great for long walks barefoot on the beach.
When the wind hits the pants are soft and loose.
The winter is such a bummer.
I hope it goes fast so I can be back on this beach enjoying sunsets and life.

Vitamin Sea

How I loved Monterey, California!
Its probably one of the most scenic and beautiful spots to visit in all of California.
I was very lucky to have experienced it for a few days.
The Monterey beaches were so gorgeous it was like being on a movie set!
I was only there for 4 days but I think I'd like to go back for a week or 2.
While I was in Monterey,
I stopped along the 17 mile drive to shoot a few gorgeous printed vintage dresses.
This peasant dress from Shabbybabe has pretty puff sleeves and high slits on each side.
I'd say its more of a beach dress than a regular day dress.
It would make a gorgeous beach cover up to throw on over a bikini!
I love the print! Its a jungle theme print.
It has palm trees, elephants, and tigers!!
When I go to the beach I can never be without a few accessories so,
I bought this pair of Chacos Sandals over the summer.
 I love them!
Their fashioned of 100% real leather,
and I've never worn a sandal so comfortable in my life!
They were ideal for walking around on the rocky terrain.
I always put on a vintage leather belt with a boho dress like this!
Concho belts are truly my favorite accessory.
I just bought this Choker during the summer.
Its a tribal themed piece from one of my favorite online jewelry stores,"Child of Wild".
I said to myself this summer I needed "Vitamin Sea"
and I definitely got a huge dose of it while in California!

Grunge Girl

High Leather boots, Full Rayon Dresses, and a summer evening in the Park is how Ive been spending my Friday nights.
Theres an air of romance to 80s and 90s Nostalgia.
When alternative rock music ruled the scene, and history saw the last of truly great rock music.
Gone are the days of Grunge, but not from my wardrobe…
I have a closet packed with so many Vintage 90s Grunge dresses! Its insane!
There are so many different styles, colors and prints of 90s Grunge!!!
This maxi dress from Shabbybabe is my latest find!
Its Hunter green with a cream windowpane print.
Its a coverall style that buttons down the front and has a loose fit. Its so cute!
With these grunge dresses I always throw on a pair of knee high leather boots.
The boots I'm wearing here are by Jeffrey Campbell for Free People.
I wear these Jeffrey Campbell leather boots with everything!!!
Another great styling tip for the coverall grunge dresses is to wear a soft camisole underneath.
It gives the dresses a modern feel and I always unbutton the front buttons up to the thigh.
That's how I take 90s Grunge dresses into the year 2015.

Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves

I have a passion for traveling!! I'm always traveling a few times a year like a bohemian gypsy!!!
I happen to work right by this little turn of the century train station, and it inspired to put a gypsy look together.
I bought this gorgeous black lace maxi skirt from Free People last year.
I love it!! Its so Gothic and is a beautiful maxi skirt to wear from day to night.
Its designed as a handkerchief skirt.
I put 2 Vintage leather concho belts from shabbybabe with it.
I have such a huge collection of these concho belts!
They go with denim, leather, rayon dresses etc, etc.
The peasant top is also from shabbybabe.
It has gorgeous lacing that goes down the front.
Whenever I put this boho peasant blouse on I feel like the ultimate prairie girl!
Our clothes always need some very cool boho accessories.
I just bought a few bohemian necklaces from Child of Wild
Child of Wild is one of my favorite places to buy
tribal Jewelry and Bohemian Jewelry, check them out!
That's where I picked up the tribal choker I'm wearing.
The boho rings and bracelets are  all vintage jewelry pieces.
A great pair of shoes always makes the outfit.
To finish this look I wore another great pair
of boho leather boots from Jeffrey Campbell that I bought at Free people.
These leather boots are awesome! Their so comfy and look great!
I'm so excited to show you more of my Bohemian closet this week!
I have so much more looks to write about!
